About us

Northwest Cabinet Works has been crafting excellence through innovation and technology, one project at a time for over 35 years.

Business History

At Northwest Cabinet Works, our commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail is deeply ingrained in our history. Founded in 1985 by John Hale and Tony Dawson in a small garage, we have grown and expanded to become a leading name in the woodworking industry. From our humble beginnings, we have always embraced technology and innovation to stay ahead of the curve.

Through our unwavering dedication to excellence, we grew into 18,000 sf of functional shop and material storage space. In 2022, we welcomed Josh Brann as a partner, further strengthening our team and our commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction.

Our founders understood that the key to success was delivering superior products that exceed customer expectations. As a result, we've invested heavily in cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art equipment to streamline our processes and improve quality.

At Northwest Cabinet Works, we take pride in our history. With a focus on innovation, quality, and attention to detail, we are well-positioned to continue delivering exceptional products and services to our clients for years to come.

Shop Technology

At Northwest Cabinet Works, we take pride in being at the forefront of technology and innovation in the woodworking industry. Our commitment to using state-of-the-art equipment has helped us streamline our processes, improve quality, and reduce lead times for our customers.

By investing in automation, we are able to produce products with incredible precision and accuracy. This not only ensures that every piece of cabinetry is high quality, but also reduces the time it takes to manufacture these items. CNC (Computer Numerical Control) equipment has also allowed us to take on larger projects while maintaining the same level of quality and attention to detail.

In addition to automation, we've also embraced 3D modeling design software. By using this software, we are able to create custom designs that meet the exact specifications of our clients. This technology also allows us to provide clients with a virtual preview of their design before it is manufactured, ensuring that the final product meets their expectations.

Our pursuit of innovative shop technology has allowed us to remain at the forefront of our craft, and positions us to continue delivering superior products and services to our clients in the years ahead.

Approach & Capabilities

At Northwest Cabinet Works, we approach each project with a comprehensive and collaborative process to ensure we fully understand our clients' needs and deliver exceptional results.

Our process starts with a thorough investigation and understanding of the project requirements. We take the time to listen and ask questions to gain a clear understanding of the project's scope and the desired outcome.

Next, we provide accurate budget pricing to ensure that our clients have a clear understanding of the project's cost before moving forward. We believe in transparency and keeping our clients informed throughout the process.

Once an agreement has been reached, we move on to the design phase. Our team of experts uses the latest 3D modeling and design software to create custom designs that meet the exact specifications of our clients. We then present the design to our clients for review and feedback.

After the design is approved, we move into production. Our automated shop and skilled specialists ensure that every piece of cabinetry is of the highest quality. We also maintain the same level of attention to detail, whether we are working on a small project or a large-scale production run.

Finally, we review the completed project with our clients to ensure that everything meets their expectations. Our commitment to excellence doesn't end with the production of the project; we stand behind our work and ensure our clients are completely satisfied.

Let's work together and bring your vision to life. Reach out to get started.
